Designed by Nicholas Tay Meng Kiat, the 360° Water Barrier is a revolutionary solution to combat flash floods in low-lying areas. This innovative design utilizes existing road barriers and enhances them with unique features to provide effective flood protection.

One of the key features of the 360° Water Barrier is its ability to adapt to changing water levels. When flash floods or high tide occur, the metal shutter of the barrier moves to the other road barrier, creating a continuous line of defense across the flood-prone areas. This ensures that water is effectively blocked from entering the vulnerable areas, protecting properties and minimizing damage.

During low tide periods or mega events, the barrier can be lowered to match the street level, allowing for easier crossing and access. This flexibility makes the 360° Water Barrier a versatile solution that can adapt to different situations and requirements.
